Commands and Tooling

The command surface and toolchain used across the monorepo.

Package manager

Use Bun for everything:

bun install

Do not use npm, yarn, or pnpm in this repository.

Common root commands

bun run dev
bun run build
bun run lint
bun run format
bun run typecheck
bun run test

Toolchain

Turborepo: Task orchestration and caching
oxlint / oxfmt: Linting and formatting for TS/JS
Lefthook: Git hooks (pre-commit and commit-msg)
TypeScript: Shared base config via packages/typescript-config

CI expectations

Before opening a PR:

Run lint and format locally.
Run typecheck for TS changes.
Run tests for affected apps or packages.

These checks align with CI and reduce review friction.
